May 2014 the 6th International Congress of Nematology was held in Cape Town, South Africa. We joined this conference and presented a poster on standardization of qPCR tests for the detection of nematode species.

The 2013 symposium on Pine Wilt Disease was held in Braunschweig (Germany) from 15 - 18 October 2013. It bundled the actual research progress and the management of the pine wood nematode (Bursaphelenchus xylophilus) and its vector beetles and enhanced scientific exchange. ClearDetections participated and introduced a new qPCR assay for B. xylophilus detection in DNA extracts made from nematode suspensions. Symposium details can be found on the PWD website
